Enjoy this fruity gelatin cake this weekend. * 1-box of white or yellow cake mix * 1-4 ounce box of gelatin, any flavor * 1-cup boiling water * 1/2-cup cold water * 1-8 ounce whipped topping-thawed. Prepare and bake cake as directed on box. Remove cake from oven and pierce at 1/2 inch intervals with a large fork. Prepare gelatin with boiling water, stirring until dissolved. Stir in cold water. Distribute gelatin mixture evenly over cake. Refrigerate for several hours. Frost with whipped topping and refrigerate for one more hour. Serve. Keep refrigerated.
