First Hour Charge

Ever wonder about that first-hour charge, even if the plumber isn’t there for one hour? It is a common complaint/misunderstanding a customer may have. As a business owner, there is a huge amount of overhead costs and fees to maintain. Follows is a list:
Gas – (multiple vehicles ), Insurance – ( business, vehicle and health), payroll – (banking & accountant fees), marketing/ advertising, office supplies, technology – (computers, internet & phone), licensing fees (in each town/city you work in), vehicle expenses & maintenance, tools & equipment, building lease/payments, and don’t let me forget TAXES! I may have forgotten something, but I am sure you get the idea. So, what do you think of not being fully charged the first-hour charge if the plumber is only there 25 minutes? Any opinions out there? Please give us your input.
