Try these tasks. *Brush your teeth, shave or write with your non-dominate hand *Choose your clothes by touch only and then get dressed with your eyes closed *Rearrange your kitchen counter or desk items for a day * Unlock your door with your eyes closed or punch in your garage code with your eyes closed. This will strengthen and preserve your brain circuits.
Eat more to eat less. Eat a protein such as a peanut butter or string cheese with an apple as a snack. You will eat more calories per serving, but the protein and fat help you get full faster and stay full longer so you don’t tend to overeat at mealtime. Want to get to sleep quickly? Try the 4-7-8 breathing exercise to put you to sleep in a minute. Place the tip of your tongue on the gum just behind your upper front teeth. Exhale noisily to start, then inhale quietly with your mouth closed for 4 seconds; hold your breath for 7 seconds and exhale forcefully through your mouth for 8 seconds.
