Veterans Day 2013

Veterans Day 2013 is here. Veterans Day began as Armistice Day to honor WWI veterans.  It marked the end of WWI when hostilities formally ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.  In 1945 a WWII veteran had the idea to expand Armistice Day in honor of all veterans.  In 1954 Congress amended and replaced Armistice Day with Veterans Day which it has been known as ever since.  Veterans Day is a federal holiday.  This being said; De Hart Plumbing has a long family history of veterans past and present.  Go out today to the parades, breakfasts, and memorials and honor the finest Americans who are willing to sacrifice their lives for our safety and freedom.  In honor of our veterans,  De Hart Plumbing will be offering a 15% discount all week.  Thanks for all you do!Veterans Day 2013
