Plumber’s Emergency Kit

Every home owner should have a Plumber’s Emergency Kit.  Get a 5 gallon bucket and attach a tool caddy to the outside, that way you can catch water and keep your tools dry.  Have a forced cup and regular plunger handy.  Each plunger has it’s own specific use.  Various size wrenches to include medium slip joint pliers and an adjustable wrench should cover most jobs.  A multi- bit screwdriver.  An assortment of Allen keys.  Duct tape and leak sealing tape are good until a permanent fix can be done, plus Teflon tape to seal leaks around threaded connections.  Heavy duty paper towels or rags.  This should be a good start for the do-it yourselfer!
