Symptoms of a Clogged Sewer

If you have symptoms of a clogged sewer it is considered a plumbing emergency.  When you have a sewer drain clog you should not use any of the plumbing in your home until the stoppage is cleared.  A very obvious symptom of a clogged sewer is that more than one plumbing fixture backs up at the same time.  The toilets in particular are affected by this, but other fixtures can also be involved.  Other drains typically affected by a sewer blockage are the tub and shower.  If you flush the toilet and flushed water comes up in the tub or shower, that means there is a blockage and the water has no where else to go.  Another strange reaction to a sewer clog is when you run water in the sink closest to the toilet and you see bubbles rising in the toilet or the water level rises.  Once you have verified the symptoms of a clogged sewer, you should arrange getting it cleared out.  This is where you call De Hart Plumbing 785-341-4193 to come to the rescue!  De Hart Plumbing, serving Manhattan Kansas, Junction City Kansas, Wamego Kansas and surrounding areas.
