The custom of the Easter Bunny was first mentioned in 1682 by Georg Franck von Franckenau. He referred to the German tradition of an “Easter Hare” bringing Easter Eggs for children. The tradition shows similarities to Santa Claus, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient. The Easter Bunny is sometimes depicted in clothes. In legend he carries colored eggs in his basket, sometimes candy and toys to the homes of children the night before the Easter Holiday. Enjoy the holiday with family and friends.
