Today is National Pancake Day. National Pancake Day is celebrated all over the world. Since 1950 the people of Liberal and Olney Kansas have held the “International Pancake Day” race between the two towns. The two towns competitors must race along an agreed-upon measured course. The times of the two towns’ competitors are compared to determine a winner.  At Olney-Buckinghamshire England, women contestants must carry a frying pan with pancakes and race over a 415 yard course. They must toss pancakes at the start and finish of the race and wear an apron and scarf. If a man wishes to participate, he must wear an apron and bandana. Eat a stack of pancakes for National Pancake Day! De Hart Plumbing, Serving Manhattan Kansas, Junction City Kansas and Wamego Kansas.
