Here are some handy household hints.  *Use acetone nail polish remover on a cotton ball to remove super glue  *To remove adhesive residue on surfaces, put some vegetable oil on the adhesive area for a few minutes and rub off  *Add 3 cups of distilled white vinegar to your automatic drip coffee maker’s water reservoir and run it through a cycle-then run a cycle of fresh water through  *Put a fabric softener sheet under each seat in you car to make your car smell fresh  *Buy a long utility hook and screw it under your kitchen cabinet to make a banana hanger  *Use old cut up panty hose to scrub tubs and sinks  *Make bug killer by mixing 1-teaspoon sugar with 1-cup baking soda and spread it where bugs crawl. The sugar attracts bugs and the baking soda kills them when they digest it  *Remove candle wax from clothing by freezing the item and flaking the frozen wax off  *Use cotton swabs to clean the air vents and nooks and cranny’s  in your car  *Dust lampshades with a horsehair paint brush.  De Hart Plumbing, serving Manhattan Kansas, Junction City Kansas and Wamego Kansas.dehart-plubming-logo
