Parts of a Furnace; Blower Capacitor & Motor

Blower Capacitor & MotorYour blower capacitor’s job is to store power to provide a burst of energy to spin the blower motor and get the fan moving in your furnace. A bad blower capacitor could cause the blower motor to run slower, hot, or short cycle. A blower motor controls the airflow, turns the fan on, and allows the air to circulate out of the system and into different rooms in the home.

Look out for humming noises, clicking sounds, short cycling, no heat, burning smells, low airflow, larger energy bills.

DeHart Plumbing Heating & Cooling offers a VIP Membership that will cover the inspection of the blower motor and capacitor. Click here to read more on our VIP Membership: https://dehartplumbing.com/vip-membership/
