The next posts here will be About the Guys. I am going to start with the owner, Lawrence De Hart. Lawrence was born into an Army family in Heidelberg Germany in 1985. He came home to one sister and three brothers. When Lawrence was one month old he contracted Himopholis B Meningitis and was hospitalized with a shunt in his skull to drain fluid away from his brain. He survived the ordeal with flying colors, thanks to excellent treatment and the good Army pediatrician-Doctor Parker. When Lawrence was three years old his family was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. He attended Fort Riley schools and then Junction City schools, graduating from Junction City High School in 2003. Lawrence eventually worked on Fort Riley for various plumbing companies before deciding to start his own company in 2013. With $82, a 2006 Chevy HHR and a vision, Lawrence went out on his own to start De Hart Plumbing LLC. It started with some jobs from friends and family, word of mouth in the community and getting the HHR lettered and one mans vision and dream-the American Dream.
Jump to 2017, nearly four years later. De Hart Plumbing is now De Hart Plumbing Heating and Cooling, with nine employees, a shop on a well-traveled road, a fleet of new or near new company vehicles and an excellent alliance of repeat and new customers.
