Every home and car should have a First Aid Kit. You can purchase them already made or put one together yourself. You never know when you are going to have that one emergency and having all the right items on hand will be beneficial to reducing the risk of infection or severity of an injury. You need to have a variety of items to treat cuts, scrapes, burns and sprains. You may want to consider taking the family to a first aid class sponsored by your local Red Cross agency. You cannot always keep your family from getting hurt but you can protect them when they do get injured when you have a first aid kit and everyone knows where it is located and how to use it.
