Anode Rod in a Water Heater

The anode rod in your water heater can extend the life of your water heater significantly.  An anode rod releases electrons that attach to tank imperfections that rust thus saving the inner lining of the tank.  The anode rod should be replaced every two years to prevent the possibility of having to replace the entire water heater.  Replacing the anode rod is a worthwhile investment and can double the useable life of you water heater.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call De Hart Plumbing – The Company With “Hart”. * 785-341-4193
