When a faucet starts to drip, don’t delay plumbing repairs.  That drip could just be a small rubber gasket inside wearing out, a simple inexpensive fix. Letting it continue will mean that as time goes on you will start turning the handle off harder so the drip stops. This can result in the gasket becoming completely destroyed.  Instead of a little drip, now there is a major trickle or an outright run of water.  Now you have a more serious and more expensive problem, especially if is the hot water side.  So, don’t delay plumbing repairs.
