When Life Gives You Lemons – Clean With Them!

Lemons are a natural organic substance that can act as an environmentally friendly cleaning agent. Buy a bag of lemons and get to work! *Use as a dish/kitchen cleaner to scrub dishes, counter top stains( not to be used on marble & granite) and the sink. *Make furniture polish by mixing one cup olive oil with 1/2 cup lemon juice, dab a small amount on a soft cloth and polish real wood furniture. * Remove fabric stains by dabbing lemon juice in a small amount of salt and gently rub on the stain, leave it on the stain for a few minutes, rinse and wash as usual. * Use as an air freshener – Cut a lemon in half and immerse in a pan of gently boiling water. You can also set a cut lemon half on a fridge shelf to keep unpleasant odors at bay. There are many, many more uses for lemons besides in drinks and sauces.
