To keep your pet safe, be careful what they eat. You should never feed your pet anything with artificial sweeteners, such as xylitol. Also avoid all chocolate, some chocolate is not as toxic as others but best rule is to never let your pet eat any chocolate. Fatty and fried foods can cause digestive problems. Grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts and avocados are toxic to their digestive systems. These foods can cause a variety of symptoms including kidney failure, vomiting, diarrhea and gastrointestinal irritation. You should never give them human medication unless your veterinarian allows it. The bottom line is, you should only feed your pets foods that are solely intended for them.  De Hart Plumbing Heating and Cooling, serving Manhattan Kansas, Junction City Kansas and Wamego Kansas.
