Crunchy Bars are an easy recipe kids can make. *2/3-cup soft butter *1-cup brown sugar *1/3-cup light corn syrup *1-teaspoon vanilla *3-cups quick oats *1/2-cup flaked coconut *1/2-cup crisp rice cereal  *1/2-cup nuts (your choice) * Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. add corn syrup. Fold in rest of ingredients. Pat into a 9×13 pan. Bake @325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool, cut and serve.
