Leaky Faucet

dripping faucetA leaky faucet can be annoying, however it is the most common plumbing problem.  Most times you can do the repair yourself.  Stopping a leaky faucet can sometimes be a simple repair by replacing the inner mechanisms of the faucet.  When you go to the store to purchase the parts make sure you know the make and model of the faucet.  Your local plumbing supply or large box store will be helpful in assisting you to find the correct repair kit for that leaky faucet.  Sometimes it is best to just invest in a complete new faucet, but always remember…you get what you pay for if you go cheap.  If you get started with a do it yourself project, like a leaky faucet repair and run into some problems call De Hart Plumbing @ 785-341-4193 and we will be happy to talk you through the process!
