people meditatingMeditation – five minutes and you’re done!  Meditation trains your brain to focus on the moment, instead of worrying about what occurred in the past or what could happen in the future.  Minute 1 – Sit straight-up in a chair, rest your hands on the tops of your thighs, legs hip- distance apart, feet flat on the floor. Close your eyes. Breath deeply, inhale to the count of four, exhale to the count of six.  Minute 2 – Stop counting and allow your breathing to fall into an easy rhythm, not too deep and not too shallow.  Minute 3 – Stay focused on your breathing.
