Hose Bib Leaks

Hose Bib LeaksSpring is here and we can finally start working on our yards again! Before you get too excited watering your lawn or flowerbed the first time this season, make sure that hose bib didn’t burst over the Winter so you don’t walk into your home and find a massive water hose bib leaks. It helps if you have someone that can assist you and help monitor for leaks.

  • Have someone outside at the hose bib ready to turn on and off the water as needed.
  • Have someone inside the house where your water lines are located.
  • Turn water on and monitor for leaks. Listen for sounds of water in the home such as dripping or spraying and check for wet spots on drywall.

If you don’t see any signs of water leaks initially, continue to monitor for leaks periodically just in case you have a small leak that may take longer to present itself. If you find that you do have a water leak, turn off the water first and then give us a call to have our technicians take care of all of your plumbing repair needs!
